PROJECTS
- Fashion Advertising Campaign Survey objective is to research one fashion advertising campaign for a fashion company or brand. This assignment allows the student to explore all the elements of an advertising campaign. It’s a great activity for students who will create their own advertising campaign later in the semester.
- Cause Marketing Project objective is for the students to develop a cause marketing campaign for one fashion retailer or brand that is focused on the teen and/or young adult community. This assignment is a collaborative team effort using advanced marketing knowledge and skills from previous marketing courses, as well as your class.
- Branding a Fashion Business Project objective is to develop a brand for a fashion business or fashion designer collection. This assignment allows the students to collaborate as an advertising agency to use advanced marketing knowledge and skills from previous marketing courses. They will create and bring to life a new brand idea that they will pitch to their selected fashion business or designer.
- Fashion Company and Social Media Project objective is to observe and document a fashion company’s use of social media for branding, promotion, and managing the customer experience over a 4-week timeframe.
- Fashion Advertising Campaign Year-end Capstone Project objective is to develop a 6-week advertising campaign for a fashion business to demonstrate understanding of advertising as the main promotional element of an integrated marketing campaign. Students will also gain experience in writing a formal document; creating visuals; and giving an oral presentation.
