PROJECTS
- Big 4 Fashion Weeks objective is for the student to observe and gather information on 5 key fashion elements that are trending in the 4 major fall fashion weeks known as the “Big 4”. This assignment is designed to follow the September/October fall fashion weeks from New York to London to Milan to Paris. Each region’s fashion week consists of several fashion shows and events to observe.
- Fashion Marketing Influence - Environmental Factors is a great project to help students understand the factors and demonstrate their knowledge. It's designed to help the student RESEARCH and DESCRIBE the 4 major environmental factors that affect fashion interest and demand. Students will take a deep dive look into the 4 factors Market Segmentation, Economic Environment, Sociological Environment, and Psychological Environment in the fashion industry. Using the provided template, they will document their findings.
- Identifying Fashion Resources project objective is for the student to examine 5 types of fashion resources professionals use to remain informed about the industry and the continual changes. A template is provided for the student to use as they research and demonstrate their work.
- Fashion Store Promotion Plan project guides the student through the process of developing a four-week promotion plan for a fashion retail business.
- Fashion Career Investigation project objective is for the student to research careers in the fashion providing lists and descriptions of businesses related to each level of the fashion industry.
